Flight Companion Option

All our summer packages are available with a flight companion option. If you'd like your child to be accompanied during their flight, one of our team leaders will travel to selected destinations, meet you at the airport, and accompany your child on their flight to Malta. We fly from Munich, Paris, Madrid, Milan, and Rome. To learn more, Click here

English Courses

Our General English Course is the perfect choice for children (8-12) and teenagers (13-17) looking to improve their language skills in a dynamic and engaging environment. With 20 lessons per week, you’ll spend three hours daily in the classroom with our dedicated and experienced teachers who provide personal attention and support.

Our academic team has developed a curriculum focused on a communicative and interactive approach to learning English. Through a variety of activities and exercises, you’ll practice all your skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing while expanding your grammar and vocabulary. We ensure that all students have the necessary time to develop their language skills and make new friends in the classroom. By the end of the course, you will feel more confident and fluent in English!

Activity Programme

Learning English should be fun, practical, and interesting, so we’ve added a variety of exciting activities to help you discover Malta, build friendships with other students, and have an incredible stay. Maltalingua’s activity programme also supports your classroom learning and provides a fully immersive, cultural, and diverse English learning experience.

Our team of enthusiastic group leaders is available around the clock to assist with all your needs. Don’t hesitate to ask them questions; they love to chat and help you practice English! We ensure you have plenty of time and opportunities to explore the island, join team activities, or simply relax with your new friends in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Accommodation

We offer three different accommodation options so you can choose the one that suits you best:

1. Standard Hotel

Our 4-star hotel, the Maltalingua Junior Residence, is located in the picturesque town of St. Paul’s Bay in northern Malta. You’ll have full access to all hotel facilities during your stay, including indoor and outdoor pools, a jacuzzi, a rooftop terrace, a games room, and more! We provide full board, which includes a continental breakfast, warm buffet lunch and dinner, and hot packed lunches with various options. Our on-site team leaders are dedicated to ensuring you have a fantastic experience in Malta. They are available throughout your stay to provide support and supervision.

2. Superior Hotel

Our Superior Junior Residence is located in the heart of Qawra at the newly renovated OCYCY Hotel, offering a premium accommodation experience for our junior programme. In July and August, the junior school is approximately 800 meters away, just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel provides exceptional facilities for juniors, including modern, air-conditioned rooms, a large outdoor pool, a family indoor pool, a water park for all ages, a play and recreation room, gourmet buffet lunch and dinner (full board), a 24/7 reception and security, and shared triple and quadruple rooms.

3. Host Family Option

Our host family options provide you with a home away from home. Your hosts will offer you wholesome home-cooked meals, access to family facilities including Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels, weekly linen service, laundry (on request), 24/7 support from the Maltalingua team, a full activity programme, and most importantly, round-the-clock supervision and parental contact.

All our host family options have been inspected and certified by the Malta Tourism Authority to ensure the homes are safe, and the families are trained to provide accommodation. As a family-run business, we fully understand the importance of the best care for juniors. That’s why we also personally vet each host family we work with to ensure they meet the high standards we expect. We select hosts who live near our schools to ensure you have a short commute to and from school.

Transport

Traveling to a foreign country can be stressful, which is why Maltalingua supports you every step of the way. When you land in Malta, our dedicated representatives will be waiting at the airport to greet you and take you directly to the Maltalingua Junior Residence or host family. When you arrive at the residence or host family, our friendly staff will be there to welcome you immediately.

You don’t need to worry about transport during your stay, as it is included in your package. We ensure you reach your destination safely and on time, whether it’s for an English lesson or to explore the island.

When it’s time to leave, one of our representatives will pick you up three hours before your scheduled departure time from the residence or host family and take you to the airport for a stress-free and smooth journey home.

Flight Companion Option: Our flight companions offer escort services from the selected airport. They will travel to the airport, meet and accompany your child onboard the flight to Malta. The same service is provided for the return journey. Contact us for more information.
