Below we have compiled a list of important things that shouldn’t be missing from your language holiday to Malta:
- An identification card or passport
- Two copies of your identification card or passport
- EU health insurance card (Please check with the insurance provider to be sure that the insurance policy covers a stay in Malta!)
- Visa (if applicable)
- Loose-leaf binder and paper
- Writing pad/writing materials
- Sunscreen and after-sun lotion
- Hat or cap for sun protection
- Comfortable clothing, short trousers, and T-shirts
- Jumper and long trousers for cooler evenings
- Sports clothing and shoes
- Comfortable shoes
- Swimming trunks, bikini, or swimsuit
- Beach towel, beach mat
- Flip flops/sandals
- Sunglasses
- Small backpack or bag for excursions
- Mosquito protection
- Wallet for important things such as money, passport/ID card, airline tickets
- Toiletries
- Contact details for your home, such as address and telephone numbers
- Chargers for mobile phones, MP3 players, etc.
- Three-prong adaptor plug for Great Britain
- Padlock for the suitcase
- Pocket money (10-20 euros per day)
- Extra money in case of medical emergencies (approximately 100 euros)
- Debit maestro card (if available)
- Medication*
*Please inform us prior to departure if you take medication on a regular basis or if you need help with taking medication. If you have to take any medication, please be sure to bring enough to last until the end of the language holiday! Parents might want to provide some basic medication like painkillers.
